Great atmosphere, nice and fast staff, personable boss with an excellent cook. Highly recommended and we will definitely come again.

We ate here with 9 people today and are completely satisfied without exception. Great ambience, nice humorous service, very tasty good food. Price-performance perfect. The evening was a great way to end the day. Can warmly recommend the location. Like to go back.

Unfortunately, I cannot confirm the great reviews! Starting with the fact that it takes several calls to reserve a table, only one tape is running and you have to wait a long time for an answer via email! Unfortunately no signs to find the restaurant without any problems! Likewise, no sign at the entrance, you can only guess whether you're in the right restaurant. The view of the lake is very good, the interior is cold and impersonal, certainly not just due to the corona crisis. A strange fenced-in terrace in front of the house gave the impression of an unfinished construction site. The menu is a plastic leaflet, simple and clear. According to the internet, a "star chef" is hired ...... the food we ordered and got was unfortunately not at all "star suspect", my schnitzel with chips, the chips cold, the schnitzel beautiful to look at, unfortunately unseasoned and dry but warm, the plate cold. My husband's roast pork was also unseasoned, totally overcooked in an indefinable broth. The salads 80s style with the popular corn pieces from the can, nicely arranged but nothing more. We were both very disappointed, it was more like typical tourist food ... they come once and then not again. The waitress, who spoke with a strong accent, seemed annoyed and stressed because the restaurant filled up pretty quickly. We were really looking forward to a delicious meal, unfortunately our ideas were not met. One star is that we didn't have to pay for the food.

I had the sturgeon for around 20 € my wife had the pikeperch for 16 € if I compare the portions the sturgeon was a starter of the amount of fish 1/3 to the pikeperch ingredient was about 3 tablespoons of mashed potatoes and a few fennel rings I got a pikeperch and three potatoes with vegetables from my wife, otherwise I wouldn't have been full. Found the sturgeon portion was a cheek because you were skimpy even with the mashed potatoes. Both tastes good. But don't go back.

Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! The food was formidable. I had pikeperch fillet (3 large) on a bed of wild herbs with a fabulous dressing and potato straw. Sensational! And at a fair price. Very nice wait staff, it was taken care of. After that we were there a few more times. I can only recommend.

Great location in a top location right on the lake - great view. The food was delicious, the portions plentiful and well presented. The staff and the owner were also super friendly and made you feel very welcome. Conclusion: I would definitely come back and can imagine the location not only for dining, but also great for larger events such as weddings, birthday parties, etc.

Very nice restaurant with a wonderful panorama over the lake. We had the honor of tasting the new and revised menu. And it was just amazing. The staff was also very nice and accommodating. All in all we had a great evening and will definitely be back.

The food is really tasty and plentiful. But the operation is simply overwhelmed. With every 2nd course, I don't know where the drinks belong on her tray and then shouts across the tables. She then "shakes" because everything is so stressful. It was 20 minutes until I had my water. I had to ask for payment twice. No idea whether the reason is incompetent operation or a bad system behind it. Anyone who wants to eat / drink something "quickly" is definitely wrong here.

Nice location with good food. The restaurant is located directly on the Altmühlsee and has plenty of seats outside with a direct view of the lake. The waitresses are on the ball and not overwhelmed even with larger traffic. The food was consistently good, of course not a high restaurant level but definitely better than in many "kiosks". There was nothing to complain about. Local Spalter beer and Franconian specialties. Prices within.

We went to dinner on the terrace on Wednesday, August 12th, 2020! The view of the lake is great and the food was good. Unfortunately, the service was miserable! The service was completely overwhelmed. She always asked us for the table number, waiting for drinks 40 minutes, no clearing of the plates although there was enough staff. In the end I even paid twice for a meal because the bill was wrong. Pity! The organizer responsible for the service failed that evening and spoiled the evening for me / us.

We went to the Strandblick restaurant with the whole family and actually ordered something from everything across the menu, hot and cold dishes as well as starters and desserts. All dishes were very, very tasty, the portions were quite large and everything was beautifully presented. The prices are surprisingly low and the waitresses were very personable and competent. The location with a view of the lake was the cherry on the cake. So all in all we were very satisfied and definitely want to come back.
